As you remember, COVID-19 did change our schedule and so we decided to gather online for the very first time.
We turned into an inspiring and helpful series of sessions for everyone split over three days.
Each of these days had a specific topic:
We went on a journey to develop a true learning organization, combining Agile, Lean and Flow as a System.
We shared our learnings how to develop scientific thinking and develop leaders as coaches.
It was the day of the Dojo´s where we went into the practice to develop and scale world-class coaching skills in organisations.
Amanda has worked as a leader within IT deliveries for over 10 years, with a focus on agile deliveries. She has also coached other leaders on how to support and promote a Lean/Agile way of working. Today she works as a line manager for several teams at Volvo Cars using the SAFe framework.
Carl Starendal, Founder, Partner and Senior Advisor/Trainer, We Are Movement With a background in game development and a decade of hands-on experience at the center of global Lean-Agile transformations across multiple industries, Carl co-founded We Are Movement, an Agile and Lean advisory team based in Stockholm. A highly regarded trainer, advisor, and facilitator, he is a passionate advocate and resource for organizations throughout all stages of the Agile journey. Carl is recognized internationally as a speaker on leadership, Agile, and product development.
Gert is former Director Volvo Car Manufacturing System. He has more than 30 years of lean experience from various positions within Saab automobil, Scania, Volvo Cars, and as a consultant and CEO of Japan Management Association Consultants.
Jeff is Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan. His articles and books have won 13 Shingo Prizes and is in the Association of Manufacturing Excellence Hall of Fame and the Shingo Academy.
Pia and Joakim are acknowledged leaders in the area of implementing lean, organizational change and creating system of continuous improvement with sustainable results. They have trained well over 1000 people and organizations in Europe and Asia.
Johanna has worked in different roles within software development for the past 18 years. Her agile journey started ten years ago with a special interest in team development and continuous improvement. Currently she is working as a line manager at Jeppesen Systems AB coaching, mentoring and supporting four agile teams in a scaled agile setup.
Katie Anderson is an internationally recognized leadership and learning coach, consultant, and professional speaker, best known for inspiring individuals and organizations to lead with intention. Katie is passionate about helping people around the world learn to lead and lead to learn by connecting purpose, process, and practice to achieve higher levels of performance. Marc-Olivier is responsible for process improvement and coaching projects using Toyota Kata. He is a co-author of the Toyota Kata Memory Jogger and was finalist for the award for the best master’s thesis at HEC Montreal in 2017 for his thesis on Toyota Kata. Marc-Olivier Legentil has worked for companies such as L’Oréal, Electrolux, Accedian and Belron.
Mike Rother is an engineer, researcher, and teacher who works to develop scientific thinking in individuals, teams, and organizations. He shares his findings widely and is in the Association for Manufacturing Excellence Hall of Fame.
Nigel is the creator of the award-winning Scrum the Toyota Way training course, and the co-creator of The Flow System.He previously served as the first ever Chief of Agile at a global Toyota company, leading Lean and Agile practices at Toyota Connected.
Sarah is is the Director of Executive Education and External Relations at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. She has worked on numerous lean projects in hospitals, universities and public and private services and has taught lean and improvement to numerous organisations and consultancies. Her improvement work specialises in helping to develop the knowledge and self-sufficiency of Continuous Improvement teams.
Sylvain is a full professor and Associate Director of the Healthcare Management Hub at HEC Montréal. His work covers supply chain management, process improvement, and Toyota Kata practices in various industry sectors.
Tilo is a leadership coach, researcher and co-founder of the Campus for Leaders at the University of Applied Science Ansbach. He was plant manager at Festool where he introduced Toyota Kata in 2007 being part of Mike Rother’s research. He has invented the Kata Coaching Dojo training format.
Tracy is a Canadian adult educator, researcher and consultant who specializes in learning at work. An enthusiastic Toyota Kata geek who writes, fixes and delivers workplace training, her mission is to be smarter about learning.
